	Note: These are the operating systems that either have a specific build or have been tested by BillMax. Other OSs are possible provided the appropriate compatibility libraries are installed or if the same kernel and compiler levels are utilized. RedHat 7.2, 8.0 and 9.0 will not be supported beyond BillMax release 2.2.0.

	BillMax requires a web browser and an operating system such as but not limited to:
	•	Microsoft Windows 98/ME/NT/ME/2000/2002/XP
	•	Macintosh OS 8,9, OSX
	•	Unix, Linux, FreeBSD, Etc.
	Required Third Party Products
	•	MYSQL™ database (version 5.0.21 is included)
	•	A Web Server - Recommended is the Apache™ web server (version 2.0.58 is included)
	•	A Web browser with the following technical characteristics: JavaScript enabled, Cookies enabled, Frames enabled. Internet Explorer™ 6.x and Netscape Navigator™ 7.x have been the primary test browsers.
	•	Other third party products such as software from credit card processors or fulfillment centers may be required.
	Benchmark
	BillMax Billing Solutions is currently operating a benchmark instance of BillMax with the following characteristics:
	•	Hardware - 800 MHz Pentium Athelon, 50 GB hard drive, 256 MB memory.
	•	Server Operating System: Redhat Linux 9.0
	•	Over five hundred thousand (500,000) accounts, Over six hundred thousand (600,000) services. Over twenty-two million (22,000,000) financial transactions spanning a year.
	•	Average processing time of 500,000 accounts for closeofday (does the daily billing, email notices, suspension of services, etc) - 5.5 hours.
